The supplied gold document describes incoming material at 23K / 96%, followed by smelting and final assay at the buyer’s refinery, targeting 24K and 999.9/1000 before settlement. Assay means testing the metal’s composition and purity; the final assay report is shared with both parties.

Delivery & refinery sequence
The historical model allocates export costs and transport insurance to the supplier up to the buyer’s airport, then import costs, secure onward transport and refining costs to the buyer. It calls this “CIF” despite describing air transport. CIF under Incoterms 2020 is a sea/inland-waterway rule; the appropriate delivery rule for an actual air shipment must be agreed in the SPA.
The source sequence includes LOI, SPA, mutual KYC, proof-of-product arrangements, bank review of the SBLC, a 2% performance bond, shipment, final assay and invoice settlement. These are historical source terms and require renewed supplier and bank confirmation.
